Note: Our partner schools are free to choose whether to adopt the courseware developed for above subjects since they are only freebies included in the LMS services we provide.
How are the coursewares structured?
Our freely usable coursewares are designed to cover 2/3 of the time allotment for the lessons each week. The lesson chunks are already arranged accordingly based on the updated Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC) released by the Department of Education as well as the Commission on Higher Education-suggested syllabus for all the General Education subjects that we have covered.
Can we do away with your resource materials?
Yes, of course! More importantly, your subscription for our LMS service, where you can have an easier way to manage your online and distance learning classes, is what eLC is providing and offering. Please do note that the resources that eLC is making available have been designed in accordance with the Fair Use guidelines.
Is eLC’s LMS service affordable?
eLC was designed to support schools that do not have existing online learning management systems in place and were largely caught off-guard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, to support private schools Ascendens Asia’s services starts at a minimum subscription cost of P1,800.00/student user/school year. See pricing table below. For schools that need printed modules, an additional printing cost of P98.00/subject based on a 2-quarter module content would have to be charged additionally.
Does Ascendens Asia extend other support to schools?
To further support private schools, Ascendens Asia offers a “Pay-Later” program*, where schools can choose to pay within the second month up to the first Monday of the 4th month of the academic year OR under monthly installment terms.
